Running a streaming current monitor should not mean constant maintenance.
The AccuFloc AF9000 SCM was developed by the same team behind the Hach AF7000, with a clear goal: keep the familiar operator experience while improving reliability, reducing maintenance, and lowering whole-of-life cost.
For operators and plant managers, that means our new Magnetic Linear Drive is designed to remove many of the common failure points found in traditional Streaming current analysers:
· Frictionless operation
· No mechanical wear in the drive
· Minimal heat generation
· No linkage, cam, or gearbox
· Very low maintenance across the instrument life
We also retained the proven signal processing approach that helps plants respond quickly and operate with confidence:
· Streaming current measurement and output updates as fast as 0.1
seconds when needed
· Simple single push-button calibration for quick setup of zero and span
· Stable, accurate electronic measurement for consistent control
We have also prepared an equivalence white paper comparing AF9000 and AF7000. The abstract is available here: AF9000 - Hach AF7000 Abstract Equivalence Paper
Why this matters on site:
· Less time spent dealing with drive-related issues
· Easy for water treatment plant operators to understand and calibrate
· A familiar keypad and user experience for teams used to the AF7000
· A direct replacement option with meaningful reliability improvements
· Optional sensor flush / auto-clean system
· Only three service parts to manage
· Lower maintenance burden and lower cost of ownership
